Tip 1:
Think about routing and the optimal path through the showroom
If you think carefully about the route customers take when visiting your showroom prior to this visit, you can take into account the position of certain products, action areas, eye-catchers, service points, etc.
Tip 2:
The position/ location of products must be customer-oriented
Imagine being a customer and walking through your showroom. Try to find out, perhaps even through a survey, what your customer is looking for or expecting. Position your products in the desired order and in the right place; and ensure that everything is easily accessible.
Tip 3:
Use "Points of interest", central points where interest for a certain product can be created
Besides the dynamic in your shop interior, it is also advisable to add dynamic in the product range. This may be achieved by using one or more "points of interest". A certain product or theme that you develop in greater depth.
Tip 4:
Lighting must be taken into account
Lighting can have a positive or negative influence on the presentation of your product. How is your showroom oriented? When do you have morning light, and when do you have evening light? Will you install some sort of sunblinds?
Tip 5:
Do you have a children's corner where parents can safely leave their children while visiting your showroom?
A children's corner does not need to be an indoor paradise, keep it simple. Do not provide too many items that can lie around; mark the playing area (useful when cleaning up).
